1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how CYBERLABS ("we", "us", "our") handles your personal data when you use the CXRate mobile app (the "App") on iOS and Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). CXRate is an informational foreign exchange and cryptocurrency rate viewer and converter; it does not provide trading or brokerage services.

2. Data We Collect

We aim to collect only what is needed to operate the App:

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
• Preferences: the currency and cryptocurrency pairs you choose to follow and related app settings.
• Technical data: limited data necessary to deliver the service and maintain a secure connection, such as your IP address and basic device/connection information.

You can browse live rates without an account. Account data is only collected if you choose to sign up.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account and authenticate your sign-in (via secure session tokens).
• To send a one-time validation email to confirm your address at sign-up, and account-related messages.
• To save and sync your currency and crypto preferences across your sessions.
• To operate, secure, and improve the App and its rate-streaming service.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We may share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the App (for example, hosting and email delivery), under strict confidentiality, or where required by law.

5. Market Data

Live forex and crypto prices shown in the App are sourced from third-party market data providers and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not personal data and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any financial decision.

6. Data Security

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including password hashing, encrypted connections, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your associated personal data, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, including deletion of your account, at any time. To do so, contact us at admin@cyber-labs.sg.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
